OK, this post is a month late, but I only just got the photo, -and it's a goodie. Standing around a large novelty cheque are (from left to right) Pete, Estelle, Someone, Chris, Norm and Mitch.Bluff Hill/Motupohue Environment Trust won the 'services to conservation with communities' section of the Southland Department of Conservation Community Conservation Awards (surely an acronym is in order). Though it's not all about the honour and prestige, Community Trust of Southland sponsored the award and gave us a real cheque for $750, thanks heaps! And we get to keep the big cheque too.
