Not so cunning now...


The lovely Estelle and niece Eden holding two weasels that they plucked from the mustelid traps today while re-baiting the Topuni Track. The average weasel weighs just 150 grams and is only about 20cm long but their appetite, agility and killing style makes them voracious predator of lizards, invertebrates and all birds. It's good to see them looking like furry waffles.
